Whenever I saw Thumbelina, the part what I felt the most catharsis was the scene what Thumbelina exits the pond with the help of other animals. The moment when she ran away from the toad, who was aiming for her as a bride.
Of course, after that, she continues to receive proposals from someone. At the end, She meets the prince of the same height and faces the ending of getting married. I've been questioning about it all the time.
